this place is awesome. taken my car here for almost everything the last few years, they’re always super quick and reliable. issues i’ve had in the past that have been taken to other mechanics have always popped back up, but any issue i’ve had and taken to them has been resolved 100%. i recommend them to all my friends and family.

Very disappointed with the lack of customer service from this mechanic shop. I was stranded on the side of the road and called asking for assistance with swapping out a simple part that would have taken about 5 minutes. I even had my child go to AutoZone to pick up the part, so everything was ready — I just needed someone with experience to help install it. Instead of showing any willingness to help someone stuck in a difficult situation, I was simply told all the mechanics were busy and offered no alternative or effort to lend a helping hand. I understand businesses get busy, but basic compassion and customer care go a long way. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.

I have been going here for almost 6 years with issues ranging from simple oil changes to shield replacements to fixing the AC compressor! wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. They’re all so nice and explain things very thoroughly to me without any judgment. I’m a woman, so it’s very important that I trust my mechanics to not price gouge me or rip me off in any way. I trust them whole heartedly (: I’m so grateful I found them.

DON‘T GO HERE EVER!! I brought my car in to get my wheel bearings fixed. They put on some wheel bearings that didn’t fit right. As a result the new wheel bearings broke while driving and damaged the transmission. Brought the car in again and they accepted their faults and got a used replacement transmission. Only the transmission they got was leaking transmission fluid. So they replaced it with a different broken transmission. After further talking to them, they kept the car at their parking lot, told me they would find a solution. After 3 MONTHS of waiting nothing was done and when I got to the place to check on things because they wouldn’t give me any proper answer to phone calls I found that my car was broken into, the dash was broken, and used napkins on the backseat. The only answer I got was we don’t know what happened. At the end they let me down, didn’t get me any solution and wouldn’t cover anything. Here I am with a broken transmission and a broken dash, many months of trouble and no solution.

My cousin suggested I go here, and I see why he did! I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Sooner Auto — they are my go-to. There were a handful of very unfortunate fixes over the past year. Timothy always took good care of my Subie while being transparent and even checking in with a phone call to give me updates (and was so patient and empathetic when I’d cry on the phone)! Dakota would always follow up with a call or text to see how my car was doing. I had a devastating car issue with a time crunch, and Tim took initiative to make sure my car would make it to Boston safely (it did!) . I 100% recommend Sooner Auto to anyone. They do their research before diagnosing a problem. They are kind and respectful. They are clear and explain everything in a way that I understand, and even show me the issues — these things go a long way. I trust them and there’s a reason why I always return. ~Ariana
